The hotel's strategic location allowed easy access to various dining venues, including the lively Cafe Bar de la Casa del Corregidor just a stone's throw away. One evening, seeking a taste of local flavors, I wandered into La Casona Restaurant nearby. The ambiance was inviting, and the aroma of traditional Peruvian dishes filled the air. Their innovative use of ingredients caught my attention; the avocado and puffed quinoa salad left a lasting impression.For breakfast, Mareas Ceviche & Mas stole the show with a vibrant spread of fresh juices, assorted bread, and the subtly delightful avocado toast. The combination of flavors was a testament to Peru's rich culinary heritage.Colonial Plaza not only provided a comfortable stay but also served as a gateway to Puno's gastronomic treasures.
